Houmam Ali Named Guardian Dentistry COO

Executive has helped lead exceptional year

MIAMI – December 3, 2021 – Houmam Ali has been named to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer for Guardian Dentistry Partners (GDP). The appointment is effective January 1, 2022.

As Senior Vice President of Operations for GDP’s North Carolina and Virginia regions, Ali has been instrumental in leading the successful growth of the rapidly expanding Dental Partnership Network over the past year. Guardian Dentistry Partners has exponentially grown over the past 12 months, with 2021 expected to be an exceptional year throughout all facets of the business.

Ali’s numerous accomplishments to date in his specific regions include significant growth in net production and earnings. Under his leadership, dental practices throughout North Carolina and Virginia have grown substantially, both organically and through adding new, strong partners in each region. Ali also has been instrumental in leading operational initiatives and improvements that have benefitted all regions throughout the company. 

In his new role, Ali, an internationally trained dentist, will be responsible for supporting GDP Operations teams across all regions and will help continue to build a culture anchored by the organization’s core mission, vision and values. He will also lead GDP initiatives that will support partners and teams in building their practices, including strategic growth plans, process improvements and drivers of team member engagement.

Ali joined GDP in 2020 after spending 10 years with ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers where he served on the company’s Leadership Team as the Vice President of Operations. He was vital in leading ClearChoice’s significant expansion nationwide over the past decade. In addition to his dental training, Ali earned his Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University and his MBA from the University of Denver.
