Guardian Dentistry Partners Names Papenbrock VP of Finance

Executive comes to GDP from Citibank

MIAMI – April 15, 2021 – Guardian Dentistry Partners (GDP) today announced the appointment of Robert Papenbrock as its new Vice President of Finance. Papenbrock joins GDP from Citibank in Irvine, CA, where he served as Senior Vice President/Credit Group Head of the company’s Healthcare Specialty Group.

At Citibank, Papenbrock helped lead the company’s very successful growth within its dental and medical service organizations and was instrumental for some $100 million in new business during 2019.

Prior to Citibank, Papenbrock held leadership roles at Opus Bank, Bank of America and National City Bank. At Opus, he was also a Credit Group Head for both dental and medical service organizations, while with Bank of America, he was a Senior Credit Products Officer covering the West Coast region working with many large dental, medical and veterinary group practices.

Born and raised outside of Cleveland, OH, Papenbrock earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. And while Guardian’s headquarters are located in Miami, FL, the company has established a support office in Ohio, where Papenbrock and his family now reside in Hudson, a Cleveland suburb. “We have, in a sense, come home,” noted Papenbrock, with a nod to his Ohio background.
