Guardian Dentistry Partners Appoints Renowned Dentist to Key Role

Dr. Hisham Barakat to be Chief Clinical Officer for Growing Network

MIAMI – September 10, 2020 – Guardian Dentistry Partners, a rapidly growing Dental Partnership Network, has named Dr. Hisham Barakat Chief Clinical Officer. The position is effective immediately. 

Dr. Barakat is one of 550 dentists worldwide credentialed as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, a certification that symbolizes the highest level of competence in implant dentistry. Dr. Barakat has also served as past president of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Southern District and has lectured nationally and internationally about implant dentistry.

Dr. Barakat is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Master of the Academy of General Dentistry and, in 2019, he was awarded the Lifelong Learning & Service Recognition by the Academy of General Dentistry.

In his expansive new role, Dr. Barakat is responsible for mentoring Guardian doctors and team members, developing and supporting clinical programs, and helping doctors become even more effective in their practices.

Before he and his group joined Guardian, Dr. Barakat was the Founder and Owner of The Smiles Group in Virginia.  Under his leadership, The Smiles Group has now become Guardian’s cornerstone in that state.
